Windsor Art Group is a group of amateur and semi-professional artists living in Windsor and the surrounding area. The group was founded in 1983 and currently numbers around 20 - 25 artists. We meet weekly to paint together, either from models, or from sketches or objects brought to the studio. During the summer we paint outdoors in the local countryside. We also organise demonstrations and visits to exhibitions during the year. Our Summer Exhibition is usually held in Windsor, and where possible we also exhibit at other locations during the year. Members of the group have exhibited at many local venues, including Holyport, Cookham, Sunningdale, Maidenhead, High Wycombe, Reading, Datchet, White Waltham and London. Between us we work in most types of media, including oil, watercolour, pastel, pen and ink, charcoal, acrylic and mixed media. Please view our work by clicking on the links above.
